Marcus Brimage was born on April 6, 1985 in Colorado Springs, CO but his family moved to Alabama when he was 4 years old. He played football and ran track in high school. Marcus joined the 117th ARW April 2003 and has been in for 9 years. He graduated from Wallace State Community College with an Associate’s in Criminal Justice. Later Marcus graduated from Faulkner University where I got my Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice.Marcus got into MMA after watching Dragonball Z and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson. Marcus began training in MMA in 2005 at Spartan Fitness in Birmingham, AL. He moved to Florida in February 2011 so he could enhance his MMA career by training at American Top Team. Another reason Marcus moved to Florida was to be by the beach. In 2007 Marcus had his first professional MMA fight, which he won by unanimous decision. He amassed a 3-1 MMA record then he made it on The Ultimate Fighter reality TV Show in 2011. Marcus fought Stephen Bass on The Ultimate Fighter 14 Finale and won by unanimous decision. His next fight was against Maximo Blanco at UFC 145 and he won that fight by split decision.
