Bruno Carvalho

Bruno was born in 1982 in Curitiba, Parana, Brazil. Bruno Carvalho is the head muay Thai and boxing instructor at CM System. Bruno brings over 10 years of experience in the sport of muay Thai and is considered by many to be the top 70 kg (155 pound) fighter in Brazil. Possessing a flawless record in muay Thai of 24-0 with 18 knockouts, Bruno has fought and beaten Brazil’s best fighters, including K-1 vet Andre “Dida” and UFC up-and-comer Edson Barboza (twice). He teaches a technical style of muay Thai which incorporates a lot of boxing and combinations, which he believes is more readily transferable to MMA. Besides his duties as instructor, Bruno is also a member of the CM System pro fight team and actively competes in MMA. He is the founder of the Bruno Carvalho Team (BCT), which is the biggest muay Thai team in the state of Minas Gerais and one of the biggest in Brazil. In order to further his own growth in muay Thai, Bruno has also trained in Thailand—the mecca of the sport. He has extensive knowledge of both traditional as well as European muay Thai, and teaches his students an MMA-ready style which blends the best of both worlds.
